XO: Nehemiah Fest

It feels good to be in comfortable skin again.

Once upon a time, many, many years ago my favorite time of the year was the summer. It wasn’t due to school being out, pool parties, or even family vacations. As cheesy as the notion sounds, it all revolved around two events: church camp and mission trips. Continue reading

Mobile Minutes: Technology Domination

I’ve tried everything. I’ve ran SimCity4 with three G+ pages, two Gmail accounts, and Pandora on the background.

I ran an episode of Suits.

I watched three cartoons.

I typed on FilingThePapers while Pandora and SimCity4 ran in the background…TOGETHER!

I have not seen this laptop crack above 165 degrees tonight.

Technology. Domination.

Mobile Minutes: Grace

This is where I’m supposed to get cheesy, and absolutely unruly on my thoughts of an audience I never see.

Realistically, I want to say thank you. Getting alerts that today’s viewership has passed 100 views for the day…again, is heart warming. It’s not as if I’m getting paid for this, it’s just my story to tell. With that said though, some of you, who I literally will never see on this earth, don’t know some of the stories that have come about from this site. Continue reading

XO: Organizing Households

It’s a fact that Darco and I are in the deal making business. The truth is that we hold each other accountable by encouragement and incentives. As we move closer together and much closer to being married; we’ve taken the time together to already compile a list of things that need adjustments in order to have a more fulfilling marriage.

The reality is that we are very, very busy individuals. I fear for the people at MoVal because we’re rarely around. Something that I take direct responsibility for. However, if we’re in our 20’s and already on the go, we should set a good standard for expectations of ensuring that projects get done, work is accomplished, and that time is spent together. Mobile Minutes: Overheating

This is a true story:

My laptop is an incredible eight years old. It still does what it is suppose to except for one MAJOR problem. It overheats like an old Yugo.

I’m not kidding; it’s a horrible experience. I’m in the middle of work, FilingThePapers, a movie, or SimCity 4 and bloop…it’s gone. I mean, I’ve clocked this thing at 210 degrees before it kicked off. Scary high numbers.

I’m getting a mobile Chromebook in September, and this laptop is so big, it never really is much of a laptop. So, it’s time to turn it into a PC for good. Today I had enough while working on a post; the stupid thing kicked off twice and I’m tired of running the A/C in the apartment, just so the laptop won’t turn off.

I got creative and tapped into my trailer park roots. Continue reading

Mobile Minutes: Work Load

There we go!

Now I feel useful. I swear that I’ve been staring in front of a computer screen for the entire day…literally. It’s been one email after one blog update after another email.

It’s work, I feel like it’s work, and it’s going to work. It’s worth the effort because I know it is feasible.

Can you imagine landing an account where you get to share with the world that there is a unknown President that exists in Missouri that wasn’t Truman? Exactly. That’s tourism money waiting to be tapped into.

Keep typing, blinking, and working.
