If you live in the Midwest, you understand the next description of summer; hot, humid, deadly, isolated, and solemn.
Maybe that isn’t the case for some of you, but for many those ‘dog days’ have the amazing reminder of how alone we can be.
“X: Summer” encompasses this aspect in the literally, but more importantly; emotionally aspect of my life. July and August were times of transitions, acceptance, and struggling with how deserted one can be in such a isolated spiritually desert; searching for anything that could hinder itself as an oasis to my dried up heart.
