I have never in my life had such misfortune when working with electronics. It’s true that within the past two months I have managed to break four different HTC One phones, each of the covered under my service plan. I’ve witnessed a camera malfunction in two of the phones, and the third just plain died, and today I received my fourth…
When taken out of the package the phone was dead, but started charging while it was being set up. When it was removed from the charger it went blank with no battery power. I didn’t think much about it until I witnessed the phone read 40% this evening, and when I turned on Instagram, it once again lost all power and died.
So, my fifth HTC One now has a faulty battery that will not stay charged.
Back to Sprint tomorrow for #6 (and a polite, but cautious letter to HTC).
