In the world of constant discrimination lawsuits, glass ceilings, and riots, I too have a point of frustration.
I would love to do a case study on tickets issued to males compared to females when pulled over by the police on the highway.
I’ll use Darco as the example.
Several months ago she was pulled over for failing to stop. No ticket.
Today she was pulled over for our license plate not being visible (after having the Mazda3 for nearly two years), and for driving too long in the left lane. To no surprise, even by way of a state trooper, no tickets were issued. Even after disclosing the amount of the citation, no ticket.
I can think back to the times I’ve been stopped in my life, to date only one pulled me over due to a serious light issue and didn’t give me a ticket.
Also, just an FYI to police out there, this is not a good way to get me to enjoy your company, especially when speaking to my wife:
Don’t park next to a guardrail. I don’t want to get hit. Sure, I don’t care if you get hit, I’ll even back up for you. I just don’t want to get hit.
